I see that Gordon Brown promises “a decade of shared prosperity” , despite the premature nature of his speech (given his popularity) does this mean; he is going to donate some of his extensive expenses account to good causes struggling to make ends meet? Will he be inviting the homeless to bed down at #10 on cold nights? Will he be taking a pay cut like many of his ‘subjects’ have during the last few years? Does he face financial uncertainty due to failed pension funds and negative equity in his home?

I suppose asking him for a donation to my beer fund from his disgustingly large expenses account will be a non starter then???
