Where have all the cops gone?

Where are the police?Publication of  ‘Valuing the Police’ – Policing in an Age of Austerity, by the HMIC revealed that at best, only 11% of the police are visibly available to the public. Following on from that report The Thin Blue line has today launched an in-depth analysis of the topic. It delves deeper into the visibility numbers and suggest methods for returning public confidence in today’s police service.

For those with any interest in the above question, this report is a must read. It succinctly illustrates what solutions need to be put in place to redress adverse issues affecting today’s policing function in the UK. It also adopts some of my comments and recommendations made previously (see Radical Reform LOL).

🙂 Yea, fame at last!
